Getting Started
To get you started making money,
we have some simple steps for you to follow. Your first step is to create a “store-front” (in other words a website
where you can advertise) much like the one you visited at the website you were directed to from the classified/advertisement.
The same website you purchased this training material from. We’ll refer to this website as the “storefront”.
No html or java-script knowledge
is necessary, no Flash media experience or C++, just an imagination and the desire to succeed.
What you do
with this opportunity is entirely up to you, the possibilities are endless and only YOU can determine how successful you are.
FIRST
STEP: How to set up a free website.
If you don’t
know by now, there are hundreds even thousands of free areas on the internet to create your own website. An easy way to find
these areas is simply go to your favorite search engine such as Google, Lycos, etc,..and type in “free websites”.
A list of links for many free website areas is included at the end of this training material (see Reference Section A), but you can always search for an area on your own.
Copy and paste the main body
of the “storefront” website you visited into your own website. Keep editing to a minimum, but by all means, tailor
your website to your own tastes while remembering to keep it professional in appearance. The “storefront” sells
itself
There are a few ways to follow-up
a sale, any of the following three will work.
The first and simplest way to follow-up a sale is to have your payments received through PayPal.
This is not a promotion for PayPal, however the ease of receiving payments and keeping track of them through Paypal makes
it a no-brainer, and it’s simple, easy, and quick. Just visit www.PayPal.com and set up your own free account.
When setting up your PayPal
account, you will create a PayPal “Buy Now” button to be placed in your “storefront” website.
Next,
You need to decide how simple
or complicated you want to deliver your product/service. Your product/service is the “training materials” and
the income opportunity it presents and can be delivered as simply as emailing the training material to the buyer.
Once a PayPal sale is successful,
you will receive notification via email from PayPal, enter into your PayPal account to retrieve the buyer’s email address
and send the training materials directly to them.
Sale
is complete!
The second way to follow-up a sale is follow the steps above except for the delivery. The delivery
is made by sending (emailing) to your paying customer, a url (link) to a second website that you create much the same way
you did your own “storefront” website, but contains ONLY the training material. You can think of this second website
as your "storage room". The second website (or "storage room") is exactly what you are viewing now including "reference
sections A, B, and C. Simply copy and paste the contents of this site to your second (storefront) website.
This second website can (and
should if possible) look just like your first (“storefront”) website (color, design, etc,.) but will have a totally
different url,..for example: your “storefront” website’s url (address) may look like (www.somefreewebsite.com/yourownbusinessname) and your second website url (address)
may look like (www.somefreewebsite.com/trainingmaterialname).
What is delivered (emailed)
to your paying customer is the “www” address to the training material site (your second website).
Sale
is complete!
The
third way to follow-up a sale is to do exactly what is described
in the second follow-up procedure except, again, we are going to change the delivery method. When setting up your PayPal account,
you created a PayPal “Buy Now” button to be placed in your “storefront” website. When creating your
PayPal “Buy Now” button you can select “more options” in the same window where you are asked to set
the cost of your merchandise. Once the “more options” selection has been made there are two text-entry windows
that begin with (http://__________) to input your urls.
The first url is where PayPal
directs your customer after making a “successful” transaction (or a complete sale). The second url is where
PayPal directs your customer if the customer elects to“cancel” the transaction (canceling the sale).
The “successful”
url should reflect the website address where your training materials are at. This allows a customer who has successfully purchased
the training materials to be instantly directed to your “training materials” website and so receiving there training
material instantly to start making money. Sale is complete!
The “cancellation”
url should reflect the “storefront” website address and even the page where the Paypal “Buy Now” button
was placed. An easy way to find the url for the exact page is to look in your browser’s address window at the top of
your screen while you have that page open.
Take care to input each url
exactly so your customer’s are not lost in “Cyberspace”.
At the bottom
of your PayPal “BuyNow” button page. Be sure to provide an email for paying customers, who may
run into technical difficulties, to contact you so you can in turn deliver their merchandise. Verifiy via your PayPal account that indeed they have paid first, there will be those
who try and get something for nothing.
STEP
2: Free Advertising:
Now that you have your website(s)
up and running, its time to get customers into your “storefront”. You need to create traffic to your site. This
is where the “brunt” of your data entry will be done. You will be placing ads much like the ones listed here in
this training material (like the one you responded to).
In order for anyone to respond to you about this opportunity, you must
place an ad on the Internet, again, similar to the one you responded to. Use
one of your own or one from the “Reference Section B”. You may need to retype it and
put it into your own words. You can place your ads in hundreds of sites for free! Remember the more ads you place the more exposure you will have and the more orders
you will have emailed to you. I cannot stress this enough: DO a search on any major search engine (Google.com or Yahoo.c
om) for "free job postings" or "free job sites" and that should give you more than enough to get started. When you're on those sites always look at their "links" and this will give you opportunity for more sites. Each site will walk you through the process of placing your own ad. Some places will require you to register with them; you will need to do this to post your ads. The information that you provide them with will not be in your ad unless you want it to be. You will definitely get responses, and you will definitely be processing orders right away! Our inboxes are always full.
Use the examples in Reference Section B as a guideline for the ad you will place. PUT IT INTO YOUR OWN WORDS!
Also take care to INSERT YOUR OWN "STOREFRONT" WEBSITE's URL into the ads.
Good Luck and start placing ads as soon as possible and at as many
places you can find (see links in
Reference Section C).
